Rastatt is becoming greener: 1,000 climate trees for Rastatt campaign continues

1.000 climate trees for Rastatt: in 2024, the city organized the campaign on its own initiative on the recommendation of the Climate Council. The city already took part in the "1000 climate trees for 1,000 municipalities" campaign in 2020 and 2021. At the time, this was a campaign organized by the Baden-Württemberg Municipal Association. The feedback and demand has been so great in recent years that the people of Rastatt were able to order a tree from the city again this year free of charge. The aim is to bring more greenery into the city and contribute to environmental protection. The cost of the 1,000 trees is around 40,000 euros.
