The municipal music school is an educational partner

With early musical education (MFE) and the state support program Singen-Bewegen-Sprechen (SBS), the music school has two proven programs for music education work in daycare centers and kindergartens.

With its broad musical spectrum and professional structures, the Rastatt Music School is the ideal partner for attractive educational programs such as wind and string classes or music projects.

The Rastatt Music School motivates its pupils to get involved in the club orchestra and offers local music clubs close cooperation in the training of young wind and percussion players. Many music students are also active in a music club, choir or amateur orchestra. The Rastatt Music School encourages this commitment and tries to coordinate offers with the clubs and share resources. The teachers at the music school also enrich the local cultural landscape on a part-time or private basis as directors or conductors of choirs or amateur orchestras. Rastatt therefore also supports a state-wide agreement on cooperation between music schools and amateur music associations.

The Rastatt Municipal Music School is well networked and a member of the Baden-Württemberg State Association of Music Schools and the Association of German Music Schools. The curriculum and the mission statement are professionally oriented according to the guidelines of the association.
