Demographic change is challenging society and requires a rethink of municipal provision. Shaping tomorrow's living together today. This is what the "Daheim Wohnen in Rastatt" project is all about. The goal of the project, which was awarded a prize by the state of Baden-Württemberg, is inclusive neighborhood development, barrier-free, self-determined living in old age and community-oriented coexistence of young and old. The project is being implemented in the Zay district of Rastatt.
The residential project is not only about structural aspects of living, but also about living together with support, neighborhood and counseling services. Age- and generation-appropriate neighborhood development and inclusive living in the Zay include meeting opportunities and places of community, a lunch table, and support through information, counseling, assistance services, and everyday and neighborhood help.
