Located in the heart of Baden, Rastatt has a lot to offer - for locals as well as for guests and tourists. With its residential palace in the core city and the Favorite pleasure palace in Rastatt-Förch, Rastatt is a true Baroque jewel. Rastatt's green spaces, the Murg River, which meanders through the middle of the city, and the city forest are inviting for local recreation and relaxation. At the same time, Rastatt is only a few kilometers away from the Rhine with its floodplain forests. Under the motto "Rastatt natürlich!" (Rastatt naturally!), the State Garden Show will also be held in Rastatt in 2036.
