Where is a parking space available in the city center? The city of Rastatt's parking guidance system provides information on this. Sensors installed in the ground detect whether a vehicle is occupying a parking space and transmit this information to the digital displays. The parking guidance system saves drivers a long search for a parking space and reduces the volume of traffic. The parking spaces in the upper Kaiserstraße and the underground garages of the BadenerHalle and Schlossgalerie are connected to the system.

Pay parking fees conveniently via smartphone

Anyone who parks their vehicle in a municipal, paid parking lot in Rastatt can conveniently pay the parking fee using their smartphone. Users can choose from seven different app providers for this purpose.

This is how it works: Park in the parking lot as usual. The app providers are listed at the parking ticket machines. Download the desired app, enter the desired parking time, select a suitable payment method and then confirm the parking process. The public order office of the city of Rastatt then receives a message about the booked parking ticket.
