Under the motto "Stay clean, Rastatt!", from March 13 to 18 there will once again be a big clean-up in the whole of Rastatt and its districts. For the 19th time, the city is taking part in the "Clean City" campaign and invites everyone to join in. The waste collection campaign is organized by the Technical Services.
Who can participate in the "Clean City" campaign?
Everyone can participate! Whether as an individual or a group, as a club, school, kindergarten, institution or company.
From Monday to Friday, schools and daycare centers are in demand. On one day each, they will clean a district assigned by the Technical Services from 8 a.m. to noon. For all other groups and associations, the "Clean City" campaign will take place on Saturday, March 18, between 9 a.m. and noon.
Where to collect garbage
Everywhere in Rastatt, litter is collected during the campaign week (core city, city and district areas). Schools and daycare centers usually clean up the area around their facilities, while clubs often clean up the area around their clubhouses. Together with the Technical Services, locations are explored that are particularly suitable and where there is a need.
How the registration works
Anyone wishing to participate in the trash collection campaign can register with the Technical Services no later than February 10, 2023, by calling Larissa Kostic (07222 972-6011) and Knut Zeitsmann (07222 972-6300) or emailing: technische-betriebe@rastatt.de.
