Many boys and girls want to become firefighters when they grow up. After all, when the "firefighters" go out on their missions, they help people and animals in need. In Rastatt, children and young people can get an early taste of the profession at the volunteer fire department and learn about the exciting work.
The youth fire department has many practical exercises on the program. The six- to 17-year-olds are introduced to the daily work of the fire department in a playful way. But sports, excursions, tent camps and lots of fun are also on the program.
