Demographic change is challenging society and requires a rethink of municipal provision. Shaping tomorrow's coexistence today. This is what the "Living at home in Rastatt" project is all about. The aim of the project, which was awarded a prize by the state of Baden-Württemberg, is inclusive neighborhood development, barrier-free, self-determined living in old age and community-oriented coexistence of young and old. The project is being implemented in the Zay district of Rastatt.
The housing project is not just about the structural aspects of living, but also about living together with support, neighborhood and advisory services. Age- and generation-appropriate neighborhood development and inclusive living and housing in Zay include opportunities for encounters and places of community, a lunch table and support in the form of information, advice, assistance services and everyday and neighborhood help.
