it is due to open in 2024: The youth café in Rastatt, which the youth delegation has been campaigning for for years. The future youth café is located in the middle of the city center, at Schiffstraße 3, and is currently being redesigned to make it suitable for young people.
A café by young people and for young people: That is the principle behind the new offer. The café is organized by the young people themselves and is primarily aimed at young people between the ages of 14 and 18. In addition to drinks and small snacks, the café will offer opportunities to play and learn. The youth delegation is also planning to offer events such as poetry slam evenings, acoustic concerts and small rap competitions.
In future, the youth café will be open on weekdays between 3 and 8 pm and at weekends between 12 and 8 pm. Once a month, the plan is to offer a long Saturday on which the café will be open until 11 pm.
