Children and family card

Whether to the outdoor pool, cinema or museum: thanks to the Rastatt children's and family card, families receive discounts from various cooperation partners.

With the founding of the Mittelbaden social region in 2019, the offer has been expanded. Since then, the children and family card can be used in public facilities in the towns of Baden-Baden, Bühl and Gaggenau. Conversely, the points of acceptance in Rastatt now also recognize the tokens of the three partner cities. There are also partnerships with the zoo in Karlsruhe, the Okidoki-Kinderland in Bühl, the Toccarion children's music world in Baden-Baden, the Unimog Museum in Gaggenau and the Volksschauspiel Ötigheim.

Who is entitled to the children and family card and where can it be obtained?

The Rastatt Child and Family Card is available to families who live in Rastatt and have at least one child under the age of 18 in their household. Older children are excluded from the offer. The card is free of charge and can be obtained from the Rastatt Citizens' Office. The city of Rastatt gives families a one-off gift of 15 vouchers worth one euro each to get them started.

Who receives the children and family card plus?

The child and family card plus gives young people from lower-income families access to social life. The card is intended to promote equal opportunities for all children and young people in Rastatt. Families receive the child and family card plus

with at least three children
Single parents
Families with a severely disabled child
Families who receive citizen's allowance or are entitled to child supplement or claim benefits under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act.

In these cases, families receive 25 vouchers worth one euro each for each child in the family in addition to the children and family card. The family card plus can also be applied for at the citizens ' office of the town of Rastatt.
In addition to the children's and family card plus , families can also apply for the Baden-Württemberg state family pass at the citizens' office, which allows them to visit many excursion destinations throughout Baden-Württemberg free of charge or at a reduced price.
