In Förch, the focus is on the redesign of Favoritestraße (K3711). The aim is to protect the buildings that characterize the area. Another goal is to protect the gardens along Krebsbach and Grünweg from development. Furthermore, the access road to Favorite Castle is to be upgraded in terms of design and the grass path with the Nussbaumhock is to be redesigned. It is also planned to extend the footpaths and cycle paths, in particular to create a safe connection to the playground.
Favoritestraße
Favoritestraße has a high traffic load, the entrance to the village is not clearly defined. The regular arrangement of parking spaces and tree locations is intended to restructure the village thoroughfare.
The three intersections with Allmendweg, Bastgartenstrasse and the forecourt of the Festhalle are to be highlighted by a special road surface in order to achieve traffic calming in Favoritestraße.
Individual measures
Two individual measures are of particular importance in Favoritestraße. On the one hand, the festival hall is to be renovated and the square in front of the hall is to be converted into a meeting place with a quality of stay while retaining the parking areas. Secondly, the property at Favoritestraße 48 is to be prepared for typical local development due to its exposed location at the southern entrance to the town
