A draft development plan or a draft land use plan must be put on public display (Section 3 (2) of the Building Code). The period is announced at least one week beforehand in the Badisches Tagblatt and the Badische Neueste Nachrichten. The planning documents are then usually available for one month at the Department of Urban and Green Planning in the City Hall at Herrenstrasse 15. During this time, comments on the draft development plan can be made verbally or in writing to the Urban and Green Planning Department. The local announcement and the documents to be exhibited will also be posted on the city's website.
