Citizens' reception 2023: Mayor Pütsch honors Rastatt citizens who are committed to volunteering
Whether in the cultural, sporting or social sphere, many people in Rastatt are involved in voluntary work in the baroque city. Their commitment is priceless and indispensable for a vibrant urban society and deserves the highest recognition. Mayor Hans Jürgen Pütsch took the opportunity at the citizens' reception on April 18 in the Rastatt riding hall to thank the "high achievers of everyday life" for their commitment. He also presented gold city badges of honor to citizens who have rendered outstanding civic services to the city of Rastatt - as honorary board members in associations and as volunteers in politics, society, culture and sport.
Received the town badge of honor in gold:
- Heinz Neuwirth, who has been treasurer of the Rastatt DRK local association for 27 years,
- Francis Moog from the Ottersdorf fruit and gardening association. He has been an assessor in the association for 30 years,
- as well as Marianne Schneider from the Kleine Narrengemeinschaft Rastatt, who was treasurer of the association for 28 years.
Mayor Pütsch also honored them for their special voluntary commitment:
- Antje Kausch from the Kunstverein Rastatt,
- Dominik Schnurr and Zoltan Schartner-Sete (both from the Historical Society),
- Roman Maier from the Twelve Apostles parish team,
- Hans-Jürgen Kohler from the Plittersdorf gymnastics club,
- Heinrich Huck from the Ludwigvorstadt-Dörflerverein civic association,
- Werner Meurer from the Ludwigvorstadt-Dörflerverein civic association,
- Rosemarie Heers-Gerlach from the association Seniorenhilfe Rastatt and
- Gertrude Vogel and Disela Landwehr - both from Hospizdienst Rastatt e.V.
